Who are You... God?

Often we have our own preconceived notions about whom someone is...or whom they are not.
Many times our perceptions are based upon what we have heard about that person.
Sometimes, we assign attributes to a person merely from observation and our own assessment of what we think that we have observed.
Our personal reflection and subsequent determination regarding the attributes, abilities, motives, character traits, and personality of this person are in no way indicative of truth.
Our conclusions were developed as a result of hearsay, or physical observation, and therefore in no way can be assessed to be an actual fact.
As I grow older I am constantly reminded of the truth of the phrase:
"Perception...is greater than reality.”
Our determination of reality is a direct result of our personal experiences and the meaning that we assign to them at the time of their occurrence. Subsequently, our behavior is shaped from our perceptions, and our actions are normally indicators of what we believe to be true.
How we define truth is what determines our perception of and belief regarding truth. In no way does this mean that our truth is actually, in fact, truth.
The perception of truth, and the factual truth, is often diametrically opposite.
The same can be said about our perception of God.
How we perceive or believe God to be can actually be quite different from who, or what He really is.
Do you believe that there is an 'Almighty' God?
One God who is the Author and the Developer of what we call and know to be life?
Or do you believe that there are many gods?
If you believe that there is One Sovereign God, upon what do you base your belief?
Is God male or is God female?
Is gender even a relevant attribute to consider when one is attempting to gain awareness and understanding of whom or what God actually is?
To some people these questions do not warrant a great deal of thought.
However, to many, many others, the question of God's identity and His awareness of people as specific individuals, for whom He has a great deal of love, and concern, has become a subject of constant thought.
Is there a living God?
And if so, then "Who are you God?"
"Where are you God?"
"Why do I have to go through things that I go through God?"
"How can you be specifically aware of me and every other person in the entire universe... and operate on this level of awareness of each of us at the same time?"
"Where do You live God?"
"Are You only in Heaven, or are you here on Earth with me too?"
"God, if You are you real, do You know me?"
"Do you see me?
"No, God, do You really, really, see...me?
Are you aware of me as a specific individual who is uniquely different from each and every other individual in the whole wide world?
My grip on my finances is continuing to slip.
My livelihood as I know it now may soon be nonexistent.
I have three children to feed!
My oldest child is in trouble, and my marriage is definitely on a downhill slide.
It seems that I no longer have the ability to control anything.
Nothing is sure in my life.
Everything keeps changing.
I don’t know what to do to deal with this constant onslaught that continues to create havoc in what used to be a pretty decent life.
"Okay God, if You really see me, hear me, know about me, and most important, care about all that I am going through...
I need to know about it with specificity.
And…God, please... I need to know right now!
